Kraft Foodservice has added Newtons Minis to its growing line of better-for-you snacks. The chewy Newtons Minis, packed in 1.34-oz. bags, are trans-fat free and provide a good source of dietary fiber, whole grains, and calcium. They are fortified with seven essential vitamins and minerals, and are also low in both total and saturated fat.
Two varieties are offered: Fig Newtons Minis, filled with real fruit, and Strawberry Newtons Minis, filled with naturally flavored strawberry jam. Both package designs feature vibrant graphics that focus on the products' nutritional attributes, and the fig-variety package highlights the fact that the cookies are made with 100% more real fruit than a competitor's cereal bars.
