Rain-Blo is the first gum ball where the color matches the flavor. They come in orange, yellow, red, green and dark purple. Leaf Confectionery introduced the Rain-Blo gumball in 1940. It was the first gumball with color and flavoring on the inside that matched the color coating on the outside. Rain-Blo also featured a hollow center which was unique to the industry.
